Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our After School Program at Lee F. Jackson Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year.

Location: Lee F. Jackson Elementary School in White Plains, NY

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Follows the school calendar

Afternoon Program: 3:25 - 6:00 pm

Job Status: Part time, non-exempt

Healthy Kids Programs provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in our program on the days and during the hours you work. What Success Looks Like:

• Program Quality: Kids are engaged, safe, and having fun every day; the program reflects Healthy Kids Program's model and families consistently choose to re-enroll
• Staffing: The site is fully staffed every day; teachers are prepared, supported, and showing up for the kids
• Compliance: The site operates in ratio at all times; records are accurate and current; the program is ready for inspection on any given day
• Inventory: The site is well-stocked with the supplies and materials teachers need; nothing runs out mid-week; restocking happens before it becomes a problem

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
