About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Accounting to lead and oversee all accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and financial reporting. This role requires ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial close processes, maintaining compliance with U.S. GAAP, and establishing and upholding accounting policies and procedures. The VP of Accounting will also provide strategic financial insights, manage internal controls, and lead various financial activities such as audits, mergers, and system implementations. Applicants for the VP of Accounting position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years' accounting experience. Strong leadership skills, prior management experience, and a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams are essential.
