Registered Nurse | GI Lab | Cumming, GA, United States
This travel assignment is in a GI Lab setting, starting 10/05/2026 for a 13-week duration. You’ll have 40 guaranteed hours per week with 10-hour day shifts across four days (4x10). The role involves on-call responsibilities during the week and weekend. The assignment is in a hospital setting and is open to travel nurses only (no local candidates within 50 miles).

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for GI and pulmonary interventional procedures, including colonoscopies, EGD, and bronchoscopy.
- Perform pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure recovery; monitor vital signs and sedation/anesthesia as needed.
- Assist the procedural team with instrumentation, equipment setup, and sterile technique; ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.
- Administer medications as ordered; document procedures, vitals, and discharge instructions; communicate changes to the team.
- Collaborate with GI/pulmonary physicians, anesthesia, and nursing staff to coordinate care and maintain quality standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent GI Lab RN experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts with on-call and holiday coverage
- Willingness to travel for assignment; no local candidates within 50 miles
