With a focus on user experience and emerging technology, Tech Research Studies conducts research that helps refine and enhance products before they reach the market. Participants engage in structured discussions, hands-on testing, and direct interaction with new technology, ensuring that companies receive real-world perspectives from diverse users.

The research conducted in this division informs design, usability, and market readiness, allowing companies to make data-driven decisions based on firsthand user experiences.

We are hiring people in the Atlanta, GA metro area to record first-person videos while completing assigned household activities in their own homes as an At-Home Data Collector.

Responsibilities

• Use a recording device we provide and ship to you.
• Follow our room-specific instructions, collecting 50 hours of footage per household, with a maximum of 10 hours in any one room.
• Offload recordings from the SD card and securely upload them to our TRS platform.
• Follow quality, privacy, and safety instructions, respond to feedback, and return the equipment as directed.

Requirements

• Age 18+ and located in Atlanta or the surrounding metro area.
• A home with suitable rooms/areas for the assigned tasks, subject to screening.
• Access to a computer and reliable internet for large video uploads.
• Complete onboarding and consent forms. No previous experience is required.
• Recordings must not include minors, people without consent, or any private/sensitive information.

Schedule and pay

• Temporary, project-based position.
• Eight-hour workdays, five days per week, with no overtime scheduled.
• Aim for approximately six hours of recording daily, with the remaining time for setup, checks, and offloading/uploading.
• Required setup and uploading time are paid. All time worked must be accurately recorded.

Only approved at-home activities may be recorded. A list of approved activities will be provided during training. Recordings must NOT include minors, individuals who have not provided consent, or any private, confidential, or sensitive information.

Duration: Looking to begin onboarding on October 8th, 2026. Collection of 50 hours total per household.

Pay: $9 per hour - paid bi-weekly
