This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level II Trauma Center with comprehensive support for patients across a broad spectrum of acuity levels. The role requires managing multiple emergency scenarios in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced certifications and skills to deliver exceptional patient care. Job Details Required Qualifications: Certified in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; valid state license (must be in hand at submission). Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 02/08/2027. Responsibilities: Managing a wide range of emergency cases including trauma, stroke, behavioral health, critical care, and acute boarding in the emergency department. Providing comprehensive emergency nursing care utilizing skills such as arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, procedural sedation, and neuro-trauma management. Certifications: Must have all certifications listed above. Additional Requirements: At least 2 years of ER experience. Demonstrated proficiency in EPIC charting system. Travelers should be flexible regarding holidays and floating between nearby facilities. Submission must include two references covering the past three years and a response to prior employment questions. Schedule Details: Night shifts from 1830-0700, with a minimum commitment of 3 holidays, and a guaranteed 60 hours per bi-weekly period.
