Project Manager - Commercial ConstructionLocation: Detroit, MISalary: $100K-$150K (salary depends on experience) Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager for commercial construction projects to lead planning, execution and delivery of mid-to-large scale builds. The primary purpose of this role is to manage project scope, schedule, budget and quality while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and driving successful handovers on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, permitting and commissioning.Develop, manage and maintain project schedules and budgets; monitor progress, forecast cost/schedule impacts and implement corrective actions to meet targets.Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors and on-site teams; oversee contracting, scopes of work, performance and compliance.Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact; provide regular status updates, manage expectations and resolve issues promptly.Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs to ensure work meets contract documents, codes and industry standards.Qualifications3+ years of proven Project Manager experience in commercial construction with full project lifecycle responsibility.Some combination of ground up Project Management experience in Commercial, Retail, Multifamily, K12, Office Space, Religious, Government, Industrial etc Experience tackling projects in $5M-$50M range Proficient with project management and construction software (eg.
