Job Description
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Tele

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hours, from 07:00 to 19:00.

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours will be specified in the assignment details.

Requirements

• 2 years of nursing experience required, with no first-time travelers accepted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience managing continuous IV medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, Bumex, Lasix, Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin, and Insulin drips.
• Basic arrhythmia knowledge is necessary.
• Experience with electronic medical records, preferably Epic.
• Ability to float within the facility and work in overflow situations if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult to geriatric patients with cardiac telemetry needs.
• Monitor and manage patients with arrhythmias, chest pain, and related cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and IV drips as per protocol.
• Assist with procedures as necessary, such as cardioversion and managing TR Bands.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
