Associate Attorney (Cincinnati Metropolitan Area)

Overview

Our client is seeking an entry-level Attorney licensed in both Ohio and Kentucky to join their growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney to gain hands-on experience in mortgage foreclosure and creditor-side collections while working alongside experienced legal professionals in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing mortgage foreclosure and creditor-side collections matters in Ohio and Kentucky.
• Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze applicable laws, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal teams regarding case progress.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court proceedings as appropriate.
• Track deadlines, maintain accurate case records, and ensure timely case progression.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active law license in both Ohio and Kentucky , with licenses in good standing.
• Internship, clerkship, or academic experience in foreclosure, collections, litigation, or a related area is preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
