Step into a dynamic opportunity as a contract school physical therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year! This full-time, in-person position offers the chance to support students across a diverse K-12 caseload. As a physical therapist, you'll help empower learners to access their education and thrive, working districtwide with a variety of ages and needs.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current license to practice as a physical therapist in Connecticut
• Prior experience working with school-aged children (K-12 preferred)
• Ability to evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse physical needs
• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and documentation
• Commitment to in-person service; remote options are not available for this role
• Enthusiasm for working across multiple schools within a district

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and create customized interventions
• Provide direct therapy services for students, supporting their ability to participate in school life
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Consult and provide training for school staff regarding student needs and accommodations
• Engage in IEP meetings to advocate for appropriate therapy and accommodations

As part of this role, you’ll work Monday through Friday, 32-37.5 hours per week, during standard school hours—supporting students from August 2026 through June 2027.
