Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Albuquerque, NM 87109
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Night shift with options for 4x10-hour (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM) or 3x10-hour (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM) schedules. 7 on/7 off rotation with weekend coverage included. Multiple positions available.
Highlights:
- Work across two women's health specialty facilities providing comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services
- 13-week travel assignment with 80 hours of paid orientation
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience
- Dynamic patient population including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- 120-bed facility with approximately 80 daily census
- Epic charting system experience required
Requirements:
- Active New Mexico Pharmacy license (pending acceptable with 10-day estimated turnaround)
- PharmD or RPh credential required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and IV Certification
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient/acute care pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
- Expertise in clinical dosing, anticoagulation therapy, compounding, sterile technique, high-alert medications, and pharmacokinetic dosing
- Experience with Pyxis, carousel systems, TPN preparation, and therapeutic medication monitoring
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
