Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Schaffer Extended Care Center
We at EMPRO Staffing are looking for compassionate and dedicated LPNs to provide exceptional patient care at Schaffer Extended Care Center . Make a real difference while working in a supportive, collaborative environment under RN supervision.
Location: 75 Glover Johnson Pl, New Rochelle, NY 10801
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Full-time, every other weekend required)
Pay Rate: $44/hour

Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine procedures.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Document patient care activities and communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements
- Completed practical nursing program from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
