Petroleum Engineering Technician

PO&G Resources is a private oil and gas company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Position – Petroleum Engineering Technician Key responsibilities include: Gathering and analyzing production data using the company's production reporting systems. Preparing well and lease level economic evaluations utilizing the PhDWin reserve analysis program. Analyzing pumping unit rod string designs utilizing the S Rod design program. Working directly with the accounting department to generate production reports for management and financial statements. Co‑ordinating with field personnel to ensure timely and accurate reporting of production data. Assisting the Operations Engineers in projects to increase production and enhance field operations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in engineering with zero to three years of experience. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; ability to work well in a collaborative environment with both management and engineering team. Self‑starter who can proactively manage the completion of projects. Practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving; hands‑on worker. Well organized to plan work schedule and project completion.
