Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC Must have graduated from a Physical Therapy Assistant program accredited by APTA, or equivalent. Current Physical Therapy Assistant license required for the state of practice, if required. Ability to demonstrate clinical competency, experience, training, and education required to perform the role.
