Senior Staff Accountant

A growing and well-established organization is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, improving processes, and partnering with multiple teams across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily accounting activities including journal entries and reconciliations
• Own bank and general ledger reconciliations and research discrepancies
• Assist with monthly and year-end financial close
• Prepare financial statements and internal management reports
• Analyze financial information and provide accurate reporting to leadership
• Build and maintain Excel-based financial reports and analysis
• Work closely with operations, project teams, vendors, lenders, and leadership
• Assist with construction loan draws and lender reporting as needed

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Strong experience with general accounting and month-end close
• Solid understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas, and data analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organization
• Construction, homebuilding, loan draw, or lender reporting experience is a plus
