Job Description As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Reporting in Portland, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri04:00 AM - 12:00 PMSat04:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility buildings, grounds, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, maintain visitor and vehicle activity records, and report access concerns to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; communicate observations and request additional assistance as directed by site procedures. Complete accurate activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while following applicable site rules and Allied Universal requirements. Minimum Requirements: A Guard Card/License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
