Position Benefits and Requirements include paid training, a consistent schedule with no late nights or weekends, opportunities to specialize in programming areas, and free swim lessons for your immediate family after 3 months of employment. Responsibilities Direct daily operations to ensure the school runs according to GSS standard operating procedures. Manage staff to maintain high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction. Onboard, train, and oversee new staff to provide superior swim instruction and customer service. Provide sales and marketing training to qualified sales staff to promote the program. Gain knowledge of software programs to assist with booking, scheduling, reporting, and administrative functions. Support pool operations to ensure a safe and sanitary swim environment. Develop from within by coaching and developing employees. Direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures; train staff on the GSS EAP. Maintain current certifications and stay up-to-date in aquatics and management. Fulfilling other duties as assigned by the Employer. Qualifications Two or more years of management experience. High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider preferred. Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred. Certificates and Licenses Active Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred; willingness to obtain certifications within the first 60 days of employment. Compensation Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour Company and Culture Goldfish Swim School operates as independently owned and operated franchises; the respective Franchisee is the employer at each location and may set wages, benefits, and terms of employment.
