Duties Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles that meet client preferences. Perform hair coloring techniques such as highlights, balayage, and full color treatments using advanced color theory principles. Apply hair extensions. We have our own hair brand and technique that you will be educated on. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Offer expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail upselling to boost client satisfaction and salon revenue. Assist with front desk responsibilities including client check-in/out, appointment confirmations, and providing excellent customer service, only when the receptionist is away. Skills Proficiency in salon software systems for efficient appointment management. Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with a strong foundation in cosmetology or barbering certifications. Skilled in various hair techniques including styling, coloring, and cutting with straight razors. Knowledge of retail math principles to effectively upsell products like hair care items and cosmetics. Excellent communication skills to engage with clients professionally and understand their desired looks. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple client appointments seamlessly. Familiarity with store management practices to contribute positively to overall salon operations.
