PRN Cardiac Medical RN Registered Nurse

Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department requirements and state and specialty standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, compassionate care, following established nursing models such as Assess‑Perform‑Teach‑Manage. Responsibilities Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration. Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs. Respond promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipate needs and resolve them. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures; translate complex terminology into easily understood language. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse license (RN). Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. No Travel Required This position does not require travel.
