Position: Student Advocate Effective Date: August 31, 2026 Hours: 7 hours per day 5 days per week Student contact days only (180) Required Education: High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's Degree preferred or in current licensure program Required Experience: Experience working in a diverse school community Background and training in restorative practices and cultural proficiency Responsibilities: Advocate for students and families - proactive communication Work closely with Student Support Team to provide proactive, culturally responsive and restorative support to students and families Serve as relationship mentors to students during all times of school day Participate in / lead restorative circles Other duties as assigned Benefits: Bloomington Public Schools offers a variety of benefits to help take care of employees' health and well-being.
