What You Will Do Evaluate, diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries. Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk-ins and same-day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up. Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting and related treatments. Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre-employment, and annual. Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries. Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and related compliance standards. Detail-oriented and confident in medical best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competence with common PC applications, Microsoft Office and EMR applications. Respect and autonomy in decision-making; team-based approach to patient care. ACLS / BLS certifications (We will provide this if needed). What You’ll Bring Doctorate (MD / DO) with a Maryland medical license and DEA certification. ABMS Board certification in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family medicine or, if board eligible, intention to become board certified within 1 year of onboarding.
