Key Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working in K-12 educational environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
• Comfort with both in-person and virtual service delivery models
• Adaptability to manage diverse caseloads and unique student needs
• Familiarity with school documentation and compliance standards

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical mobility, function, and needs to inform intervention plans
• Develop and implement engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom settings
• Act as a resource for families, providing guidance on at-home exercises and progress
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture, advocating for student success
