Registered Nurse (RN)

Essential Functions

• Collect and analyze relevant data related to patient health or situations.
• Develop and implement care plans that include prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and utilize strategies to promote health and safety in the clinical environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide care.
• Provide educational opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate the duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• Must meet hospital fire and life safety requirements.
• A minimum of two years recent experience in the nursing field is needed.
