Maintenance AssistantThe Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment including forklifts, conveyors, wrappers, and routine building maintenance as needed.Schedule: Thursday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm & Saturday - Sunday 5:00am - 5:00pmShift Differential: $1.00/hrThis position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assisting the technician in completing and updating information in eAM and contributing to the maintenance department's achievement of additional levels of RxIdentify problems, troubleshoot, evaluate, repair equipment, and/or make adjustments or corrections to parts or equipmentMust be able to communicate effectively with warehouse technicians and different levels of management and work as a team member in the maintenance departmentResponsible for ensuring HKE standards are maintained and for ensuring all safety and company rules are followedQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Must be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureHave at least one (1) year of work experience in maintenancePreferred Qualifications:Have an associate's degree or higherHave at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollys, conveyor belts, etc.)Have at least one (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic conceptsAbout UsAt Sherwin-Williams, our purpose is to inspire and improve the world by coloring and protecting what matters.
