Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Burn Unit - $1,968 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is hiring a travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13‑week assignment in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role requires 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts). The position is open immediately. Responsibilities Provide patient evaluation, develop and implement individualized plan of care in the acute setting. Supervise PTAs and therapy technicians. Bill and document procedures per facility and insurance guidelines. Ensure compliance with state board regulations and coordinate with medical center staff and physicians. Use adaptive equipment and update plan of care as patient status changes. Complete daily documentation using the Medical Center computer system. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of PT experience (new graduates encouraged); 1 year preferred. Board‑certified physical therapist with current license in the state of Louisiana. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods of time. Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment. Assignment Details Duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts). Compensation: Pay based on shifts with a tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined).
