Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
3:30 PM - 7:00/8:00 PM

PeopleShare is seeking a Program Lead for a local recreation center. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with youth, leading activities, and helping create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
Lead and supervise daily youth programs and recreational activities
Plan and facilitate engaging games, projects, and enrichment opportunities
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to youth
Encourage teamwork, confidence, and personal growth
Monitor participation and keep activities running smoothly
Assist with program setup, organization, and facility upkeep
Communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff
Follow all program policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year of experience working with youth, recreation programs, childcare, education, or a related field
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to lead groups and manage multiple activities at once
A positive attitude and passion for helping young people succeed
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to successfully complete a background check
