Job Title: Machine Technician Job Description

As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for the operation of CNC machines and support the Production Team by producing a variety of parts and fixtures that meet the dimensional specifications provided in blueprints. You will also interact with robotic cells and communicate any faults to the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Teams. This role primarily involves setting up and operating Robotic Welders, Laser Cells, and General Automation Machines. Additionally, you will perform some preventive and routine maintenance on these machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and produce parts and fixtures according to blueprints.

• Interact with and troubleshoot robotic cells, including ABB robotic cells.

• Communicate any faults to the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Teams.

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on machines.

• Conduct 75% operation, 20% programming, and 5% preventive maintenance.

• Engage in robotic welding, laser operation, and general automation.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of experience running Robotic Welders, Laser Cells, or General Automation Machines.

• Experience in troubleshooting, repair, fabrication, and programming.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Capability to cross-train in other departments.

• Opportunity to receive in-house welding certification.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.

Work Environment

Work in a flexible environment with first shifts typically starting between 5-6 am, and second shifts running Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am with no overtime. Opportunities for working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are available, with Fridays usually requiring 4-5 hours of mandatory overtime. The new facility offers modern amenities and equipment to enhance the work experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
