Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, and with nearly 200 physicians and more than 400 healthcare and other professionals on staff, our team is committed to providing outstanding service in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment.ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA Regulations and triage process in the ER setting.QualificationsEducation, Experience, Training:Current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.IV certification upon hire; Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification preferred.Pay TransparencyHuntington Beach Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs.
