How You'll Contribute

As a Registered Nurse (RN),  you'll play an important role in providing compassionate, high-quality behavioral health care for our patients. You will:

• Provide safe, compassionate, and individualized nursing care to patients.
• Complete patient assessments and identify physical, behavioral, and emotional care needs.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established standards.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
• Support a safe, therapeutic environment for patients throughout their treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the care journey.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Follow hospital, regulatory, quality, and patient-safety standards.
• Serve as a supportive team member and clinical resource to help provide an exceptional patient experience.

What we are looking for :

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Current Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations in which the facility operates.
• 1-year experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• CPR certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
• De-escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
