Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Tech position located in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves supporting outpatient and community hospital surgical procedures across various specialties including orthopedic, neuro, and vascular cases. The position requires working Monday through Friday with shifts starting at 7:00 am or 9:00 am, and may include coverage for one night shift as needed. The assignment is ideal for professionals seeking to contribute to a busy surgical suite while adhering to scheduled hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, starting at 7:00 am or 9:00 am, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), California license in hand, no minimum experience required (entry-level candidates accepted), and a valid California license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Epic charting system, sterile surgical experience in outpatient, community hospital, orthopedic, neuro, or vascular surgeries.
• Open to accommodating block schedule: No
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have knowledge of orthopedic drills, arthroscopy equipment, and be familiar with sterile techniques. The role involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment with interdisciplinary support. Travel and holiday coverage require flexibility, including working two of the three major holidays. References covering at least one year within the past three years are required, and candidates must be willing to float as needed.
