As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Operations in Romeoville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen individuals and items according to site procedures, and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a professional presence, help deter incidents, and provide clear, courteous communication to visitors and team members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and selected shipments in accordance with site procedures, escalating prohibited items, suspicious activity, and access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials or authorization for entry to restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
