Account Manager-SMB Sales

Role Description The Account Manager – SMB Sales is a full-time, field based role in Marysville, WA, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of small and mid-sized business customers. This role involves building strong customer relationships, identifying business needs, and presenting Verizon Business solutions that drive value and performance. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts. The Account Manager will monitor account health, address customer issues, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service. The role also includes tracking sales performance, maintaining accurate account records in CRM tools, and meeting or exceeding sales targets and activity metrics. Qualifications Strong account management and customer service skills, with experience maintaining and growing SMB client relationships. Proven ability in lead generation and sales activities, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and closing deals. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear, accessible manner. Demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction, including resolving issues promptly and proactively identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience. Familiarity with business telecommunications, networking, or technology solutions is highly beneficial. Comfort working with CRM systems and basic sales reporting tools to manage pipelines and track performance. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities on-site.
