Brand Ambassador

East Hampton, NY, United States Job Description YOUR ROLE The Brand Ambassador is responsible for generating sales by providing the customer with an exceptional shopping experience. Brand Ambassadors act as the face and voice of our company, build brand recognition, and promote our product through customer engagement to increase brand awareness and sales. The Brand Ambassador should model Unsubscribed values and customer-first behaviors in all actions to create a positive customer experience. RESPONSIBILITIES Consistently demonstrate customer-first selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals. Leverage company tools and technology to provide product knowledge that enhances customer engagement and maximizes sales. Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge, helping to complete tasks, and assisting in customer interactions. Outfit the customer by suggesting key looks and incorporating latest trends based on the customer’s individual style. Promote awareness and growth of the brand by introducing customers to additional brand channels. Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately in accordance with cash control procedures and customer service guidelines. Restock returned merchandise to the correct product location; label and place damaged or defective merchandise appropriately at the end of each shift. Maintain brand standards per the 5 S’s (In Size, Styled, Stocked, Standard, Signed). Maintain a neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room, and stockroom to ensure a safe and presentable store environment. Handle merchandise from shipment processing, floorsets, markdowns, and replenishment systems while adhering to backroom SOPs. Resolve customer concerns in line with company policy and with customer satisfaction in mind; collaborate with store leadership on elevated issues. Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers, sales leadership, and associates. Collaborative team player with the ability to work well with others. Ability to receive feedback and take appropriate action. Able to stand and move about for extended periods with occasional breaks; capable of reaching, bending, and handling products. Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to perform all essential job functions. Proficient with technology. Pay/Benefits Information Actual starting pay is determined by factors including but not limited to relevant experience and location. Subject to eligibility requirements, associates may be eligible for paid sick leave; AEO may provide REAL rewards at its discretion.
