Upper West Side Nanny Family Assistant

A warm, organized, and proactive Nanny/Family Assistant is sought for a busy New York City family with three children. The primary responsibility will be the care and development of the family’s toddler, while also providing support for the older siblings and assisting with household management tasks. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic environment and can seamlessly balance childcare with light family assistant duties. The schedule is: Sunday-Friday, 7am to 7pm, live-in or live-out.

Responsibilities:

• Dedicated childcare, primarily for the toddler

• Managing morning and evening routines

• School and activity logistics, including drop-offs, pick-ups, and accompanying children to activities

• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children (and occasionally for the family)

• Maintaining an organized and tidy kitchen (including dishwasher management and fridge organization)

• Assisting with grocery planning, deliveries, and general household organization

• Laundry, closet organization, and overall home upkeep

Requirements:

• Strong command of English language; Superb communication skills, both written and verbal

• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers

• Minimum 5+ years related experience working as a Nanny/Family Assistant with a private family

• Flexibility in scheduling with willingness to work extended hours, overtime, and travel, as needed

• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well

• Light healthy and fresh cooking for the children

• Knowledge of general first aid and CPR

• Valid Driver’s License is a major plus; clean driving record

• Valid Passport with flexibility to travel with family as needed; both international and domestic

• Legally able to work in the United States

Compensation:
$110,000-$150,000 per year
