Grip's Pulse Order Management System (OMS) offers real-time inventory tracking, batch traceability, and seamless integration with platforms like Shopify. This end-to-end solution provides brands with complete visibility and control over their supply chain, eliminating the need for multiple third-party tools. With strategically located temperature-controlled fulfillment centers, Grip can reach over 80% of the U.S. population within 24 hours. Job Description: The Chief of Staff works directly alongside our Founder & CEO — someone who can operate at his level, translate thinking into action, and drive the company's most important initiatives forward. This is a high-trust, high-leverage role for someone with exceptional judgment, strong business instincts, and the ability to move fluidly between the strategic and the operational. You will be in the room for the decisions that shape the company, and you will own the follow-through that makes them real. You will take ambiguous ideas and turn them into clear, executable plans — then make sure they happen. Specific responsibilities: Own the numbers that run the business — the dashboards and KPIs leadership relies on. Keep metrics current and surface the insights that matter. Be the person who always knows where the numbers stand and what they mean. Strategic & Special Projects Lead the company's most important cross-functional initiatives from question to execution — the "figure it out and drive it" projects. New market entry: research and build the case for expansion into new verticals such as pharma — mapping the landscape, requirements, and opportunity end to end. Technology build-out: scope what's needed for new systems (e.g., inventory technology), define requirements, and push it through with the tech team. Facility modernization: ensure every facility is equipped with the latest technology and operating to standard. Financial analysis: run deep-dive analyses — such as line-item spend reviews — to understand where money is going and where we can be sharper. Sit in on key conversations to capture context and keep the CEO focused, prepared, and on track. What You Bring: 5–7 years of experience in a top-tier environment: management consulting, investment banking, or an operations role at a high-growth startup. Strong quantitative and analytical skills — genuinely comfortable with numbers and financial analysis. High technical fluency — you understand technology well enough to scope it, evaluate it, and work credibly with an engineering team. Exceptional organization — you keep many moving pieces in order without dropping anything. Strong executive presence and leadership — you command a room and earn trust with senior stakeholders and teams alike. A fast, self-directed learner who can be dropped into an unfamiliar problem and quickly get to depth. A bias for execution — you turn thoughts and direction into finished, high-quality work. You operate like an owner and hold a high bar for yourself and your work. You're equally comfortable zooming out to strategy and diving into the details. You're discreet, dependable, and easy to trust with sensitive information. You thrive in ambiguity and in a fast-moving, still-building environment.
