Analytical Chemist
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Analytical chemist needed to support pharmaceutical drug substance and product development using chromatography, spectroscopy, and other analytical techniques. Responsibilities include method development, validation, stability studies, and instrumentation operation in a GMP environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up, and analyze drug samples using HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, GC, GCMS, SFC, UV-Vis, NMR, and dissolution techniques
- Support development and optimization of analytical methods including assay, purity, and impurity characterization
- Execute method qualification, validation, and transfer activities for development and commercialization programs
- Conduct degradation, stability, and investigational studies to evaluate product performance and risk
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation; maintain accurate documentation and data integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with 2-4 years experience, or Master's/Engineer's degree with 0-2 years experience
- Basic laboratory skills and ability to follow written procedures and protocols accurately
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills with excellent written and oral communication
- GMP laboratory and analytical chemistry experience
- Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks and data trending
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, self-motivated with adaptability and positive attitude
