Essential FunctionsProvide an Exceptional Guest Experience

• Greet every guest warmly and professionally upon arrival and when answering the telephone.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure each guest feels valued and appreciated.
• Schedule appointments accurately, politely, and efficiently based on guest needs and stylist availability.
• Identify and confirm guests prior to their arrival and communicate with the appropriate stylist in a timely manner.
• Process all transactions accurately and efficiently through the point-of-sale system.
• Prepare and process service and/or retail tickets, accurately determine charges, update charges in SpaBiz when necessary, and collect payment.
• Enter and maintain accurate guest information in SpaBiz.
• Operate SpaBiz efficiently and effectively as it relates to the responsibilities of the position.
• Promote and recommend additional services, retail products, and gift cards based on the guest's needs.
• Develop and maintain strong Aveda product knowledge, including product benefits, location of merchandise, and appropriate recommendations.
• Confidently answer guest questions and use product knowledge and professional selling techniques to close retail sales.
• Address guest concerns professionally and refer complaints regarding tickets or services rendered to the Manager in Training (MIT), Assistant Manager, or Store Manager through the appropriate Challenge Form process.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining merchandise displays to ensure the retail area is organized, clean, and inviting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and guest areas.
• Assist with general salon and front desk cleanliness as needed.
• Support the salon team in creating a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements:
