Requirements Master’s degree in Pediatric Nurse Practice (PNP) Active New York State NP license and PNP certification (PNCB or ANCC) EMR experience and strong HIPAA knowledge Pediatric clinical training with experience caring for children/adolescents Recommended NYS trainings: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control DEA registration preferred (or willingness to obtain) Preferred: 1+ year as Pediatric NP; bilingual English/Spanish Ready to Practice Pediatrics the Way It Should Be?
