Job Summary:
Experienced Database Administrator responsible for managing SQL Server and Azure SQL environments. The role involves supporting database operations, performance tuning, migrations, security, and data solutions for critical production systems to ensure optimal database availability and performance. Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL databases.
- Support database design, schema changes, upgrades, migrations, backup, and recovery processes.
- Perform data migration, validation, and integration for enterprise systems.
- Support data warehouse, data marts, and Power BI environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues to maintain database security, availability, and performance.
- 7+ years of SQL Server Database Administration experience.
- 4+ years working on production database servers.
- Experience with data analytics, Azure database administration, and data warehouse support.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, monitoring, migration, and security.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with Power BI Administration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL High Availability / Always On.
- Business systems analysis and design experience.
- Role supports critical production systems requiring high availability and security.
- Work Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
- Work Mode: Primarily Remote.
- Interview: Preferably in person, may be virtual via Teams.
