SIGINT Systems Engineer

DescriptionDESCRIPTION: SAIC is seeking a SIGINT Systems Engineer to work on complex projects crucial to national security objectives. He/she will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to assist the government in implementing and executing systems engineering processes to integrate capabilities into the operational baseline at a customer facility in Denver, CO. Compensation estimate is $140,000 to $145,000.Primary responsibilities: · Function as the Operational Thread Lead (OTL) for Transition Implementation Plan (TIP) test and final integration on customer platforms· Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level systems architectures to assist in the development of new system requirements · Provide technical review and assessment of payload/mission development and readiness activities· Advise users in alternative operations for newly designed payloads and cross mission activities· Advise for enterprise-wide readiness activities for prelaunch, launch and checkout of mission systems to the TIP Director and Test Conductor· Conduct readiness activities associated with the space vehicle, payloads, and ground processing segments achieving initial and final operational capability· Advise on system performance criteria and evaluate performance of on-orbit vehicle system activities· Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, presentations for customers; brief government and industry as requiredQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Required:· Must be a US Citizen· Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph · Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or relevant field, and 9 years or more experience; Masters in STEM or relevant field, and 7 years or more experience· Experience with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) mission systems and Information Operations (IO)· Experience delivering hardware and/or software systems· Demonstrated experience across full systems engineering and project management lifecycle(s)· Must be a self-starter, proactively addressing customer requirements with no supervision and expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics· Must be capable of simultaneously managing multiple tasks and deliverables· Must be a polished communicator (written/verbal) with experience in preparing briefings and presenting to varied audience from engineers and operators to senior leadership· Must have Impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment to be master at collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders -- consensus builderDesired:· 4-years’ experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling DoD or Intelligence Community projects or Programs· Significant space and ground domain knowledge in customer mission technical capabilities and performance · Familiar with MBSE/Digital Engineering, Jira, Confluence and cloud technologies· Familiar with Agile development methodologyPotential for remote work: NoJob Field: Engineering and SciencesTravel: Yes, 10 % of the Time
