Universal Banker We are seeking a Universal Banker for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client. Responsibilities Responsible for deepening the branch customer base through a variety of proactive sales and service activities. Build relationships with customers through identifying opportunities to improve the customer’s financial wellbeing. Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions with a defined sales process including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting and effective lobby engagement, ultimately elevating client loyalty. Foster customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources. Understand banking products and procedures to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively. Complete their part in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed in an efficient and accurate manner. Deliver excellent customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services. Teller experience including receiving checks and cash for deposits, cashing checks and processing withdrawals, verifying amounts, examining checks for proper endorsement, and entering deposits into computer records. Execute branch functions such as wire transfer, Treasury Management and product agreements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED, as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. 5+ years of related experience in a banking or financial services client servicing role. Skilled in providing products and services through the retail banking branch. Effective communication of ideas, information, and needs through the customer. Foster effective working relationships within own department and across functional departments.
