We are seeking an experienced and dedicated line cook to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to perfection, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in the development of new menu items

Qualifications:

• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Food safety certification preferred
