Job Role

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized treatment strategies that inspire them to reach their functional ambitions.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily functioning.
• Collaborate with Care Teams: Partner effectively with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic, comprehensive care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques that promote progress outside of a clinical setting.
• Track and Adjust Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients are on the right track.

Qualifications

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and well-supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Current valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
