AssemblerThis role focuses on producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices as part of a collaborative manufacturing cell. You will perform detailed assembly and operate various equipment and machinery by following documented procedures in a controlled cleanroom environment. The work may involve electronic assembly, casting and coating, mechanical assembly, and packaging, with a strong emphasis on precision, quality, and adherence to safety and documentation standards.ResponsibilitiesAssemble cardiovascular medical devices and related components according to documented procedures and standardized work instructions.Perform detailed electronic, mechanical, and casting/coating assembly tasks using appropriate tools and equipment.Operate various machinery and equipment in a manufacturing cell, including computerized test equipment.Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering tools, and adhesive bonding techniques to complete assembly and repair tasks.Perform routine assignments under close and continual review to ensure adherence to quality and process standards.Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies to verify conformance to specifications.Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment and accurately record test results.Repair and correct devices and components using microscopes and applicable tools when defects or issues are identified.Package finished devices, ensuring all parts are accurate, correctly labeled, and documentation is complete.Maintain accurate records so that travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are complete, traceable, and compliant.Ensure all parts and components are traceable to support effective quality control and issue resolution.Clean tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with documented procedures to maintain a clean and controlled environment.Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices and equipment when performing operations.Work effectively as part of a team within a manufacturing cell to meet production goals and quality standards.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED.Basic English communication skills to read, understand, and follow written procedures and documentation.At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.Experience with assembly or operator roles in a production environment.Ability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment and follow gowning and cleanliness requirements.Capability to perform medical device assembly or similar precise assembly work.Comfort using microscopes for inspection, assembly, and repair tasks.Ability to operate machinery and equipment used in production and testing.Strong attention to detail for visual inspection and precision measurements.Ability to follow standardized procedures and documented work instructions consistently.Commitment to safety practices and proper use of safety devices and equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in medical device manufacturing or medical device assembly.Experience in machine operation within a cleanroom or highly regulated environment.Exposure to food service or other environments requiring strict hygiene and cleanliness standards.Familiarity with soldering, adhesive bonding, and the use of hand tools, razor blades, and syringes in a production setting.Experience maintaining accurate production and quality documentation, including travelers and shop floor paperwork.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based manufacturing cell.Why Work Here?You will contribute directly to the production of life-enhancing cardiovascular medical devices in a professional, highly respected healthcare manufacturing environment. You will work within a structured manufacturing cell, frequently using microscopes, hand tools, and various production and computerized test equipment. The facility emphasizes a professional, businesslike appearance and welcomes visitors regularly, so maintaining a polished and appropriate image is important. Dress expectations include professionally appropriate clothing; jeans are allowed if they are clean, free of rips, holes, and stains, and compliant with global gowning procedures. Certain items are not permitted, including clothing with suggestive or derogatory language, pictures, or slogans; overly revealing clothing; dirty or stained clothing; pajama pants; and bedroom shoes or house slippers. In the cleanroom environment, additional gowning rules apply, including no makeup, no false eyelashes or eyelash extensions, and no jewelry, to ensure product safety and contamination control.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Temecula, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.25 - $22.83/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
