About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Operations to serve as the senior operational leader for its academic health system. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing clinical excellence, operational performance, growth, patient and workforce experience, and financial stewardship in alignment with the organization's mission and strategic priorities. This role involves providing executive leadership, translating organizational strategy into operational execution, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The AVP of Operations will also be involved in developing and executing operational plans, establishing key performance indicators, and driving continuous improvement in various areas, including quality, safety, and financial performance. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a related field and 5-7 years' of leadership experience in a healthcare or academic health system. A background in ophthalmology is strongly preferred. The role requires a member of ACHE, AMGA, or ACHE Fellow, with demonstrated success in change management, operational experience in complex settings, and a proven track record in business development and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals, lead a team of departmental leaders, and effectively manage multiple projects. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement are essential.
