Lead active storage migration initiatives, including transitions to vSAN based platforms, developing migration plans, validating configurations, and ensuring continuity of operations throughout the migration lifecycle.
Evaluate and recommend the appropriate mix of on premises, cloud native, and hybrid architectural approaches to achieve a right sized environment, with explicit consideration of program specific physical testing dependencies, enclave boundary constraints, and total cost of ownership.
Develop and maintain authoritative infrastructure architecture documentation, including current state assessments, target state designs, hardware lifecycle gap analyses, network diagrams, dependency maps, and decision records, in Government approved repositories and transferable formats Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure architecture, with demonstrated experience designing and governing hybrid on premises and cloud hosted infrastructure in production federal IT environments.
In depth knowledge of infrastructure architecture disciplines, including hardware configuration, compute and storage resource pools, network architecture, infrastructure applications, performance and resilience design, and backup and recovery.

Working knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks including NIST SP 800 53, RMF, and ATO processes, with experience designing infrastructure architectures that satisfy authorization requirements.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance; demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of complex infrastructure architecture problems in creative and effective ways.
