Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to admitted adolescents with behavioral health needs, including assessment, monitoring, and ongoing patient care planning.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and document responses in the electronic medical record.
- Apply de-escalation techniques and safety protocols; respond to urgent events while ensuring patient and staff safety.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (psychiatrists, social workers, therapists) to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate charting and compliance with policies; ensure licensure requirements and documentation are current.
- Maintain flexibility for unit coverage needs; eligible travelers may be asked to float to other units within the health system as needed.

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a compact license; NURSYS license verification with all active RN licenses
- 2+ years of nursing experience in adolescent behavioral health inpatient or closely related setting
- Current BLS certification; CPI or MOAB (or equivalent) required
- EMR experience; Cerner experience preferred but not required
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- RTO (time off) request must be included at submission
- Ability to work in a hospital inpatient setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
