Location: Fully Remote (US Only) Contract Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $90 - $95/hr on W2

We are seeking a Software Engineer III to join a small engineering pod focused on integrating new and acquired products into existing enterprise platforms and tooling.

This role is primarily focused on system integration and onboarding, supporting the growing volume of requests to connect new products and systems with established review and compliance platforms. The engineer will work closely with software engineering teams and cross-functional partners to build reliable integrations, configure end-to-end workflows, and ensure new systems align with existing technical and compliance frameworks.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on software or solution engineer with strong backend engineering and systems integration experience who can quickly learn new platforms and deliver production-quality solutions within a tight project timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate new and acquired products and systems into existing enterprise platforms.
• Handle product-to-platform integration requests from engineering and cross-functional organizations.
• Build and configure end-to-end review and workflow pipelines, including intake, case management, and enforcement flows.
• Develop, configure, and maintain production-quality software integrations between different systems.
• Adapt and maintain integrations as underlying systems, APIs, and platform requirements evolve.
• Ensure integrations align with established compliance frameworks and technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, technical leads, product teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and develop practical solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Quickly learn new internal tools, platforms, and technical workflows.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to engineering decisions related to integration architecture and implementation.
• Manage multiple integration requests while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.

Must Have Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, backend engineering, systems integration, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience building and implementing software integrations between different systems or platforms.
• Strong backend/software engineering skills with experience developing and configuring production-quality code.
• Hands-on programming experience with Hack, Python, and Java.
• Experience with system integration, API integration, platform integration, or related systems engineering.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, and technical environments.
• Ability to work effectively within a small engineering team and deliver against aggressive timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working at a large technology company such as Google, Microsoft, or another comparable organization.
• Experience integrating newly acquired products or systems into established platforms.
• Experience working with compliance frameworks, governance systems, review workflows, or enforcement platforms.
• Experience working within a small engineering pod or highly collaborative engineering team.
• Experience delivering technical projects under tight deadlines.
• Experience supporting complex API, platform, or backend integrations.

About the Team

You will join a small engineering pod consisting of four engineers and one technical lead.

The team is responsible for integrating new and acquired systems into established enterprise platforms. The group works closely with engineering and cross-functional organizations to onboard systems, solve integration challenges, and ensure new products meet existing technical and compliance requirements.

As an additional engineer on the pod, you will take ownership of integration work while collaborating closely with the technical lead and other engineers.
