Our surgical department is made up of a 14 bed Pre-op, 4 bay PACU and 6 Operating Rooms. With dedicated Surgeons, Nurses, and OR Assistants, you will gain experience in areas such as General Surgery, OB/GYN, Ortho/Sports Medicine, ENT, Urology, Bronchoscopies, Dental Extractions, and Peds Dental Restorations.A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsIdentifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPerforms timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordResponsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientPerforms timely and accurate QI assessmentsWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. Additional requirements include:American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.One year of experience preferredRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
