Entry-Level RecruiterNextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing technology and communications company seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Recruiter for an immediate six-month contract opportunity.This position will support the company's People team by coordinating internal promotions, transfers, lateral moves, title changes, and offer-letter processing. The individual will help ensure employee transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies.This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who enjoys process-driven work, can manage confidential information, and wants to expand their experience in HR operations, internal mobility, and HR systems.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal promotions, transfers, lateral moves, and title changes from initiation through completionPrepare and distribute offer letters and other employee-change documentationInitiate and manage Personnel Action Forms and related approval workflowsPartner with HR, recruiting, and hiring managers to gather compensation, effective-date, reporting, location, and position informationVerify that internal offers align with approved compensation guidelines and escalate exceptions appropriatelyUpdate, close, fill, or reassign requisitions associated with internal employee movementComplete HRIS updates and maintain accurate employee recordsCoordinate internal transfer documentation, notifications, and compliance requirementsHelp ensure a smooth handoff between external recruiting activities and internal employee transactionsAssist with merit changes, job reclassifications, and organizational updates as neededTrack internal movement activity and offer-letter turnaround timesHandle confidential employee and compensation information with discretionRequired QualificationsOne plus years of experience in human resources, recruiting coordination, HR operations, or HRIS administrationExperience or exposure to preparing offer letters and processing employee changesFamiliarity with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systemsExperience with Personnel Action Forms or comparable workflow and approval processesProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyAbility to manage multiple high-volume, time-sensitive transactionsExcellent organizational, prioritization, and follow-through skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with HR professionals and business leadersAbility to work on-site in Eastern Dallas County at least three days per weekAvailability to begin within one to two weeksPreferred QualificationsExperience using PaycomBachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience supporting employees across multiple locations or business entitiesFamiliarity with compensation bands, merit guidelines, or pay-equity processesExperience in a rapidly growing or changing organizationNextStep Recruiting provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or sexual orientation.
