About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Technology Enablement to lead a transformative initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a unified approach to technology development, with a focus on building a shared foundation that enables teams to build safely, sustainably, and productively. This role is pivotal in modernizing the craft of building technology, turning data into a strategic asset, and ensuring that the company's critical systems are not left behind in the evolution of technology. The Managing Director will also be tasked with riding the waves of emerging technologies, particularly AI, and will be expected to be a full-stack strategist, platform builder, engineering enabler, and disciplined transformer. Applicants for this role at The Company should be full-stack strategists with a proven track record of leading technology operations and a strong understanding of cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise systems. The role requires a leader who can balance the demands of the business with the needs of the technology builders, and who is adept at managing critical infrastructure with a focus on safety, reliability, and financial impact. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 10 years of leadership experience in technology, and a background in transforming and enhancing the culture of technology teams. The Managing Director will be at the forefront of a significant organizational change, and as such, a disciplined and reliable approach to transformation, as well as a commitment to the values of creativity, craftsmanship, community, communication, and change, are essential.
